As was said earlier we don't have the priveledge of being able to barter for goods or services. I was told once by some Muslims that living in poverty and forsaking this world will free you to attain closeness to Allah. I thought then and still do believe that you can let money overtake youre thoughts. But if you remain firmly grounded in Islam and be sure to follow the example of the Proghet (saw ) and remember to give charity out of what you hAve, you will overide the temptation of greed and you will replace an evil for a good. We are told to meet evil with something better; GOOD !!! So long as remember to give in charity you will purify any wealth you have.
